Our plane was ready to board. Supposed to be on time.
Then announcement they were waiting on the crew . No estimate of how long that would be? Then after seeing some crew go on they said they were doing a maintenance inspection. About hour later they cancelled the flight.
As we were going to Tallahassee there were no more flights that night, it took them hours to rebook every one and issue the hotel vouchers (40 minutes away). Terrible experience having a full flight of travelers with only two flight attendants helping them. I walked Dow and found a gate with 4 attendants standing around no customers no flight going on. I asked the supervisor why they couldn’t send staff to help when a flight is cancelled.
He said they were busy working on another flight. They were not busy.
It was pretty disgusting. And I agree I will not fly as unless I absolutely have no other choices
