We have been at the airport sicne 4:00 pm, waiting for our flight at 8:55pm. We start to get curious at 8:40 because there have been no updates on our flight, so we go to one of the costumer service desk and ask them if we are at the correct spot for our flight.

She tells us we are and there is nothing to worry about. We go back and sit down and 9:10 comes around and we are very frustrated; we go to a different desk and they tell us our gate was moved 20 minutes and we missed our flight and there is nothing they can do for us!

I'm curious what airport you were at? Every airport I have flown out of or into announces very loudly when there are gate changes.

You couldn't miss it if you tried. I'm from Minnesota and fly mostly out of MSP, which is one of the highest rated airports in the country, so maybe it's not something they do everywhere?


Friends don't let friends fly on American Airlines. Their customer service is zero.
