I was scheduled to fly from Champaign IL to Chicago to San Francisco. Due to weather, my flght from Champaign was delayed, and I was put on another AA flight.
Unfortunately the second flight from Champaing to Chicago was delayed because of mechanical problems. When the plane from Champaign finally arrived from Chicago, the pilot inspecting the flight back to Chicago noticed the plane had a "BALD" tire and would not fly the plane unless the tire was changed. This caused me to miss my flight (Chicago to SF). I purchased an ugraded seat on my original Chicago/SF flight and with all the changes, there were no upgraded seats available and I was told I had to submit a refund request for the $60.18.
When I received my CC statement I had two charges from American $60.18 and $25.
I have emailed, filled out the AA refund request and I get no response from American. Where is their customer service.
