On an upgraded seat on American Airlines flight #963 from Dallas, Texas to GRU in Sao Paulo, Brazil 12/13/2016 the flight was cancelled for mechanical reasons and scheduled for the next day. Overnight reimbursement for hotel and food costs was promised by the American Airlines rep if I submitted it on their website.
Other passengers were given vouchers on the spot, but not me. After submission with all required paperwork I have now been refused reimbursement twice with no reason given.
