Flight from Atlanta to New York was delayed due to technical issues with the plane. 10AM flight delayed an hour or so at a time past 3PM and counting.
Lack of apparent customer centricity turns out to be a ‘silent’ re-routing of passsangers to New York through Charlotte NC. My 14 year old daughter and I watched 2 flights to Charlotte go by oblivious to the fact that AA was routing some passangers to NY this way while avoiding others letting them (us) live with the hope that each new departure time posted on our original flight (delayed due to technical issues) will actually fly. It wasn’t until another traveler alerted us to try to re -route to NY that we became aware our original flight will most likely never leave.
Due to AA’s dishonesty and lack of traveler concern a 2 hour flight is an all day ordeal. My last experience with AA if I can help it.
