Don't expect to get anything back if you leave it on the plane | American Airlines

I left my purse and wallet in the overhead bin when I departed a flight from Manchester to Philadelphia. This was clearly my own fault although it likely would not have happened if another passenger from several rows behind had not rushed into the space next to my seat and knocked me down with their bag. The pilot on my connecting flight radioed the previous plan and I was advised "the cleaning crew didn't find anything". What the meant was "the cleaning crew appreciated the Christmas bonus and will happily keep your wallet and leather backpack purse. American Airlines clearly does not care about passenger safety if they approach to cleaners is "finders keepers" and too bad for the person the item belonged to.

You ASSume it was the cleaning crew the profited from your stupid act. Anyone could have come behind you and got a payday based on your ignorance.

If it was the cleaning crew, what did you want them to do, hold an inquisition? Don't be an idiot the next time and you'll be just fine..

As we all have heard in the news over the past few years, American Airlines does indeed engage in discrimination. My family and I were flying and told we could not board early with my 7-month-old grandson. I fly various airlines, and this has always been allowed. It was allowed on the trip to our destination, and we heard the employees at other gates allowing those with small children to board early. Others were allowed to early board but my son and daughter-in-law were not. I reported it via email. A decision was made without even hearing my full side. They defended their employees as expected; not knowing the complete story. I will be boycotting American as long as I can help it.

You delay my flight by a whole day , without informing me of it ! Not only did you delay my afternoon flight but you booked me for a morning flight in Which your counter opens at 7:30 there's a line extending through the airport !! You have two representatives helping this enormous line its 8:20 we have to board in the next 55 min and there's no movement in this huge line !

I hate when they change gates | American Airlines

this is my regular airline because they tickets are cheap and the accomodations of the airplane decent. One thing that I hate is when they change gates FAR AWAY from the one the one they indicate at first. I have run like crazy 2 times, when I was in Miami because they changed the gate. Some people from the staff are apathic (7 of 10 employees) to their clients if you are not in one of those fancy lounges they have. I hate to tolerate that. You should improve your customer services. No, I'm not rude with them or talk to them in a mean way. I just look at them straight the eyes in silence when they are acting like... you know what :)

Help received when my flight was delayed | American Airlines in Hayes, England

I would like to thank American Airline staff for the help my self and my daughter received over 12th & 13th October,we had delays for our connecting flight both outward & returning and the help we received was second to none.We would have been in a mess without the help from three individuals and I only wish I had taken their names.One was at Chicago and two at Springfield Missouri.So thank you American Airlines.

Just because YOU don't see them working doesn't mean they aren't meant for another flight or about to time out. In the old days, airlines would simply bump a few passengers to rush a crew to do another flight as the primary crew is about to time out.

Flash foward to people like you, whining about the United thing. Airlines just won't do it if they can help it. BTW, a crew can time out because of delays in the system due to weather that's nowhere near you. If they see the crew can't fly a leg before timing out, the party is over.

To summarize, running an airline is above your mental level.

Walk the next time. "You must work for them."

Crushed in freight elevator | American Airlines

The wheelchair person refused to take me to my vehicle. She made me get out of the wheelchair chair. She pressed the freight elevator. I walked in and the doors crushed me between the shoulders. I couldn’t move. I had to kick the door open using my legs. I’m very sad because my shoulder is in pain and the emotional factor of being crushed between the elevator doors has been an emotional nightmare.
